Ian joined Heywood Holmes & Partners as an articling student in 1967 after graduating from Lindsay Thurber High School and was admitted to the partnership in 1975. With over thirty-five years experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, and business consulting, he has been able to lend a broad range of experience to the firm and has built a diversified clientele. Ian has a strong background in providing complete services with close personal attention to small and medium sized organizations of all types, and serves many clients in the construction and service industries.

Ian is a member of the Piper Creek Optimist Club, where he has served as President and Treasurer in the past. He is an active supporter of the Westerner Exposition Association. Ian, his wife, and their children are active members of the community. They enjoy the company of friends and their travels to England to visit family.
